WTF: 7-Year-Old Kid Gets Jaw Busted By Teacher, ‘He’s Still Shaking In His Sleep’ (VIDEO)
Neglect And Abuse Led To A Child Having His Jaw Broken By A Tutor At A Baltimore School
Imagine the horror of sending your child to school only to have him wind up with a broken jaw, and not from another student, but an educator. It seems almost unreal that something like this could happen, but it has.
Trayvon had been acting up, so 25-year-old Timothy Randall Korr, attempted to take him to the principal’s office. Somewhere between the classroom and the office something went terribly wrong and the child ended up with his jaw and two teeth busted.
Trayvon’s mom, Lateekqua Jackson, spoke to CBS Baltimore about what happened.
“The teacher told me that he put him over his shoulder, and when he put him down he was bleeding. That’s it. How can you tell somebody like that? He said he made a mistake. He said, ‘I made a mistake. It was a mistake.’ That’s what he said.”
Boy, did he ever. He made a violent “mistake” that left a young child with a busted jaw.
After security footage was examined by “child abuse detectives” a warrant was issued for Timothy Korr’s arrest. He was booked on charges of 1st and 2nd degree child abuse, 1st and 2nd degree assault, reckless endangerment and neglect of a minor.
According to the Baltimore Sun, the footage showed Korr had hit Trayvon against a wall. Baltimore Police Department spokesman T.J. Smith said that nothing could have justified the way Korr acted.
“[Trayvon was] slammed so hard his body went limp. To watch a child be basically manhandled like a sack of potatoes is incomprehensible.”
According to Trayvon Grayson’s mom, the event has had a terrible impact on him both physically and mentally.
“My son had dreams about it all last night. He’s still shaking in his sleep, saying that he keeps having visions of [the teacher] throwing him into a wall.”

Understandably, Timothy Randall Korr has also been fired from the job that he held through the Baltimore Curriculum Project (BCP). Laura Doherty, the president and CEO of BCP apologized to the family for the brutal incident.
“We are heartsick that this child suffered this injury. We pray for his complete and quick recovery and for his family as well. This is an unusual, isolated incident for our schools, and we are participating in a thorough investigation into what exactly happened.”
