Trump Orders Government Sanctioned ‘Black Crimes’ List To Stoke Anti-Immigrant Fear
The Worst Actions Of America’s History Are About To Be Repeated Under Donald Trump
POTUS Trump’s ugly war on immigrants is in full swing with the signing of an executive order titled “Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Improvements.” Under the order, planning and building his dream wall along the Mexican border has begun. And, Syrian refugees and citizens from 7 Muslim majority countries are banned from entering the United States.
Esquire compares these moves to disastrous decisions in the past like the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 which cut off immigration from China and made every Chinese person in the US a “permanent alien”. And, the Johnson-Reid Act of 1924 that put heavy restrictions on immigration from Eastern European which prevented Jews fleeing the holocaust from finding refuge in the US during WWII.
Also in the order, according to The Independent, are instructions for his administration to publish a list of crimes committed by immigrants on a weekly basis. Worryingly, the order doesn’t just cover “illegal” immigrants, but seems to be open to listing crimes by all immigrants.

The document sets up an “Office or Victims of Crimes Committed by Removable Aliens” and is designed to adhere to the following:
“Secretary shall direct the Director of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement to take all appropriate and lawful action to establish within US Immigration and Customs Enforcement an office to provide proactive, timely, adequate, and professional services to victims of crimes committed by removable aliens and the family members of such victims. This office shall provide quarterly reports studying the effects of the victimization by criminal aliens present in the United States.”

As Salon reports, Trump got the ball rolling by reading a list of murder victims killed by undocumented immigrants when he signed his executive order in the Oval Office. This reflects his activities on the campaign trail when he regularly brought up the issue and named victims during his speeches, and even at times having families of victims on stage with him.
The goal of setting up this office is to undermine defiant sanctuary cities that don’t detain undocumented citizens through a campaign of stoking fear of the threats of immigrants and of shaming the jurisdictions that he feels shields them.
Not so ironically, this publishing of crimes mirrors the efforts of the alt-right Breitbart News that keeps a weekly tally of crimes committed by African-Americans. Who is Trump’s top advisor in the White House? That’s right. Steve Bannon – former CEO at Breitbart News.
