Bannon Just Gave Secret, Closed-Door Testimony, And Mueller Subpeonaed Him — Trump is Toast!
Tuesday morning saw former White House Chief Strategist Stephen Bannon giving testimony under oath before the Senate Intelligence Committee. Bannon, who has been quoted in the best selling book ‘Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” by Michael Wolff calling activities of the Trump campaign “treasonous”, has found himself labeled “sloppy Steve” by our juvenile Tweeter in Chief.
“The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor–with no lawyers.”
That’s what Bannon was quoted revealing to Wolff in the controversial tell all.
In Wolff’s book Bannon described the meeting at Trump Tower in June, in the midst of the 2016 presidential election where Trump squared off with Hillary Clinton, as “treasonous”. The meeting was enthusiastically set up by Donald Trump Jr. after he received emails promising dirt on Clinton from a Russian lawyer purported to be close to Putin. Trump Jr attended, as did then Trump campaign manager, the now indicted Paul Manafort.
“Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic … you should have called the FBI immediately,” Bannon added, as described by Wolff. And he continued, “the chance that [Donald Trump Jr.] did not walk these jumos up to his father’s office on the twenty-sixth floor is zero.”
There’s been speculation that “jumos” means “JUnior Moscow Operative”, or is a whole new slur, or some “covfefe” level gibberish, but no one is really sure what it means. In the context of the statement, however, the JUnior Moscow Operative theory makes the most sense.
And hot on the heels of that, news broke Special Counsel Robert Mueller has hit Bannon with a grand jury subpeona. That’s the first time Mueller is known to have used that mechanism to get information on those who are or have been in Trump’s inner circle.

And while that could be a hook the Special Counsel could choose to let Bannon off, either way it’s a sharp tool to pressure Trump’s former Chief Strategist to give up the goods. And that means one thing: the smart money is betting that Trump is toast.
