In what will end up being the most epic way to troll Westboro Baptist Church, Dumbledore and Gandalf will tie the knot next door to the anti-gay group.

In celebration of the legalization of same-sex marriage in Ireland, actors will participate in a mock wedding between Hogwarts Headmaster Albus Dumbledore of the Harry Potter series and everyone’s favorite Lord of the Rings wizard Gandalf the Grey at the Rainbow House in Kansas.

The idea gained steam after JK Rowling tweeted a meme along with a message stating that Dumbledore and Gandalf can now get married in Ireland.

Of course, Westboro Baptist Church threw a temper tantrum and responded that they would picket any such union, which drew the ire of the famous author, who returned fire by slamming their ignorant homophobia.

“Alas, the sheer awesomeness of such a union in such a place would blow your tiny bigoted minds out of your thick sloping skulls,” Rowling wrote.

Rowling then defended her tweet by explaining that kids who haven’t come out yet need to see people standing up to hateful bigots.

And now, the union everyone has been waiting for is actually happening.

The nuptials will be held in anti-gay Kansas across the street from the anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church at the Equality House. The event is being sponsored by Planting Peace, whose founder Aaron Jackson took a dig at the WBC in a comment made to the Huffington Post.

“We are delighted to be hosting the Dumbledore and Gandalf wedding and stand with them in the face of bigotry and celebrate equality for all. The WBC won’t have to go too far to picket this union. They can look out their front window.”

And we can’t wait to see the bigots fume over it. Because they clearly brought this all on themselves.
