Major Advertiser Attacked for Dumping Hannity over His Creepy Defense of Roy Moore (TWEETS)

Roy Moore may unintentionally have brought about the end of Sean Hannity

Fox News has arguably become more partisan under the Trump Administration. While anchors like Chris Wallace and Shep Smith continue to remain the same, somewhat-objective individuals, they are few and far between in the conservative conglomerate. Many shows like “Fox & Friends,” “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” and “Justice with Judge Jeanine” exist for either the sole purpose of broadcasting propaganda on behalf of the GOP, currently the Trump Administration, giving their right-wing guests a place to spew their nonsense, or downplaying/ignoring major news breaks like the Mueller Investigation.

But the arguably worst one remains “Hannity.” Hosted by the eponymous Sean Hannity, “Hannity” goes beyond typical Fox News programming by becoming a place where outright fake news thrives. He has propagated conspiracy theories like the “deep state,” distorted news breaks, and had on infamous racist and alleged pedophile Ted Nugent.

Well, that latter aspect resurfaced the other day when Hannity decided to cover the recent story regarding Roy Moore, the former Alabama judge running for Jeff Session’s seat in the Senate special election. What happened was a woman came forward claiming that Moore had attempted to date her and initiated sexual encounters with her when she was 14 and he 32. While Moore has claimed that these accusations are false and a secret attempt by the Democratic Party to discredit him before the election, one of his colleagues has come forward stating that it was “common knowledge” that Moore used to date high school girls.

Last Friday, during an interview with Hannity, Moore was questioned about these things and whether or not he had gone out with minors, to which he responded that he “generally” did not date them when he was in his 30s. Hannity, being the partisan hack that he is, refused to follow up on that misstep in rhetoric, and even went so far as to say that having sexual relations with 17 and 18 year old girls could be seen as “consensual.” This prompted a widespread backlash against him and his advertisers who perceived him as being an apologist for Moore and his pedophilia allegations.

Luckily, five of these advertisers have heeded the call and subsequently pulled their names from his show, including the beverage company Keurig. Well, as is the case with other business that take on a progressive outlook like Target and Starbucks, it has gotten boycotted by conservatives who are evidently angry that they would withdraw support for their heroic shill. The hashtag “#BoycottKeurig” has been trending, resulting in liberals taking to Twitter to defend the company for taking an honorable position. Check out some of the Tweets below:
