There’s Something Really, Really Wrong With Trump’s 9/11 Tribute Tweet (VIDEO)
Trump Has History Of Being Obnoxious On 9/11
The bar for any tweet Donald Trump decided to send out in commemoration of September 11th was set dismally low. After all, this is the guy who tweeted this gem out on a previous September 11th:
“@realDonaldTrump: I would like to extend my best wishes to all, even the haters and losers, on this special date, September 11th.”
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 12, 2013
Trump is also the same guy who pretended like he predicted the collapse of the World Trade Center.
I predicted the 9/11 attack on America in my book “The America We Deserve” and the collapse of Iraq in @TimeToGetTough.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 29, 2011
And let’s not forget how he falsely claimed that he saw Muslims celebrating the collapse. How he then doubled down on the lie, and that led him to publicly mocking a man’s disability on national television.
Oh, and let’s remember about the time he bragged that the collapse of the Twin Towers enabled his own building to become the tallest in Manhattan:
“40 Wall Street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan, and it was actually, before the World Trade Center, was the tallest — and then, when they built the World Trade Center, it became known as the second-tallest. And now it’s the tallest.”

(By the way, that horrible bit of bragging isn’t even true. He can’t even be factual when being awful.)
In other words, the president has a history of just being really obnoxious and disgusting when talking about September 11th. Like any true narcissist, he turns it around and makes the deaths of thousands of Americans about himself.
Trump Tweets Out Odd Video For 9/11
Being president hasn’t changed that.
Trump tweeted out this video on Monday, September 11.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 11, 2017
Notice anything strange about it?
Yeah. It’s all about him.
I mean, literally, the footage is nothing but footage of the president doing things that look vaguely patriotic and presidential while a bugle plays. No mention of the people who died that day, or a tribute to the many first responders who gave their lives, or suffered grave injuries, and who still battle health problems today. No mention of the loved ones left behind. Just 40-plus seconds of Donald Trump playing president.
In the meantime, here’s something else we should remember:

I’m sure he’ll get to it soon…maybe after he builds that wall and makes America great again.
In other words…don’t hold your breath.
