That Time Trump Made The Most Embarrassing Mistake of Any President, Ever

What could be more embarrassing for a President of the United States than this? Cigar play in the Oval Office? Not even close. Paying a porn star six figures for her silence about cheating on your wife, and having it get out anyway? Nope. Falling down the stairs to Air Force One? That’s a negative, Ghostrider. Choking on a pretzel? Ahem! Nope. Getting confused when you try to open doors the wrong way? Thanks to the Secret Service, nope. Saying it’s hard to put food on your family? Not even that. Not knowing that as President of the United States you’re also the President of the Virgin Islands? OK, that’s pretty bad, but still, nope.

What is it that’s so bad that it’s more embarrassing than all those Presidential embarrassments I’ve just listed, and all the others I didn’t? This:

Please help us get the truth out by sharing this story!
Yes, that’s right. Donald Trump, who (Heaven help us) is the President of the United States of America, does not appear to understand what the 3 branches of our government are. It’s a mistake children make as they’re taught civics, thinking that the House of Representatives and the Senate are each branches of government, rather than just parts of the Legislative branch of the government. And our President just made that middle school mistake.

And on top of that, he lacks an understanding of history in an unprecedented way. Not only does he not understand the relatively recent history he’s commenting on, he doesn’t understand the history he himself was the key player in, within the last year.

For cryin’ out loud he’s the President of he’s not sure what structure of Government whose own legacy he can’t remember!

Needless to say, some folks felt they needed to give him a remedial lesson…
