Trump Rages Over Bannon’s Treason Talk – White House Staffers ‘Absolutely Terrified’
Trump is furious and the White House staff is terrified
In a new tell-all book entitled “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump Whitehouse” by author Michael Wolff, former Trump advisor Steve Bannon reportedly had some incredible things to say about the dysfunctional Administration, including this doozy:
“The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor – with no lawyers. They didn’t have any lawyers.”
“Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad shit, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately.”
So you have to wonder what’s going on behind the scenes in the White House, with that sort of thing coming out. One tweet from Scott Dworkin, an Obama alumni who co-founded the Democratic Coalition and is a regular contributor on AM Joy with Joy Reid on MSNBC, gives us a big clue.
Multiple people told me this morning Trump is infuriated beyond belief at Steve Bannon’s comments about Don Junior. Saying that Trump thinks Bannon is the traitor. They’ve never seen Trump this angry. The sound of their voices? Absolutely terrified. Expect an unhinged response.

That’s right. If leaks allegedly coming out of the White House are to believed, White House staffers have “never seen Trump this angry.” This is the same unhinged POTUS we’ve all seen lose his cool almost on a daily basis for over a year now. And those staffers are “absolutely terrified” of the president.
And now that even Donald’s own former Chief Strategist is saying there was clearly treason in Trump Tower, all bets are off. And while the president is now saying Bannon had very little real influence, we all know that his official job was the administration’s equivalent of Obama’s David Axelrod, or George W. Bush’s Karl Rove – so it’s not easily dismissed.
And not only does Bannon say Donald Junior committed treason by meeting with Russians claiming to be working as “part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump“, he’s saying that treason reached all the way to “the 26th floor” – where The Donald’s offices are. Yes, that’s right, when Bannon said “the chance that Don. Jr did not walk these Jumos up to his father’s office on the 26th floor is zero” he wasn’t just saying that Donald Jr. committed treason, he was saying there’s “zero” chance that Donald SENIOR didn’t commit treason, too.
In light of that kind of accusation from that kind of accuser, it seems that the person who should be “absolutely terrified” is the president , himself.
