Trump Whines About ‘Fake News’ On Global Stage, Brags About ‘The Apprentice’ (VIDEO)
Trump Takes Tantrum Global
Donald Trump took his whining about “fake news” to the global stage on Thursday, during a joint press conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda in Warsaw.
And if that wasn’t a petty enough show to be made by the President of the United States, he also threw in an extra tidbit about how he made NBC a fortune with The Apprentice – as if NBC should tailor their news coverage of the president simply because he was once a reality TV star.
The petulant moment came after David Martosko of the Daily Mail asked Trump a two-part question. One, he asked what the U.S. response to the increasing tensions in North Korea, especially in light of their new ICBM capabilities, and secondly, he asked Trump about what he called the “wrestling video thing.”
“Since you started the whole wrestling video thing, what are you thoughts on what’s happened since then? CNN went after you and had threatened to expose the identity of a person they said was responsible for it. I’d like your thoughts on that.”
And in case you may not know what the “wrestling video thing” is, here is the tweet, from the president himself, in question.

Trump could have concentrated on North Korea, as would befit a world leader. But this is the man who did, indeed, tweet out a “wrestling video thing,” and has a long history of launching into hysterical tantrums over “fake news,” which is, for this White House, any coverage that isn’t Fox News’s constant fawning over the administration.
“I think what CNN did was unfortunate for them. As you know, now they have some pretty serious problems. They have been fake news for a long time. They’ve been covering me in a very, very dishonest way.”
Let this one sentence just sort sink in: “They have been fake news for a long time.” It certainly doesn’t sound very presidential, does it? It doesn’t even sound very adult. Instead, it sounds like the petulant, whining rant of a schoolyard bully, tattling on the kid who dared to push back.
Modern Day Presidential?
But perhaps this is what Trump meant by “modern day presidential.”
My use of social media is not Presidential – it’s MODERN DAY PRESIDENTIAL. Make America Great Again!

Trump didn’t want to just bash CNN, though. NBC has also hurt his feelings.
“NBC is equally as bad, despite the fact that I made them a fortune with The Apprentice, but they forgot that. CNN has really taken it too seriously. I think they’ve hurt themselves badly, very, very badly. And what we want to see in the United States is honest, beautiful, free, but honest press. We want to see fair press. I think it’s a very important thing. We don’t want fake news.”
