Watch Fireworks EXPLODE As Larry Wilmore Goes Off On Milo Yiannopoulos For Attack On Trans People

Milo Yiannopoulos’ appearance on Real Time With Bill Maher set plenty of tongues wagging since it was announced earlier this week. But after Yiannopoulos attacked transgendered people in a five-minute rant, comedian Larry Wilmore, also a guest on the show, decided he’d had enough and told Yiannopoulos off, Vulture.com reports.

Larry Wilmore really goes there with Milo Yiannopoulos

In his rant, Yiannopoulos referred to a transgendered woman as a “he” during a speech at a college, The Hill reports.

“He had already left the university, And I make no apologies for protecting women and children from men who are confused by their sexual identity,” the poster boy for right-wing creepiness said. “I did it on purpose. I misgendered this person. …I think women and girls should be protected from having men who are confused about their sexual identities from their bathrooms.”

Maher appeared to think this had some merit, but Wilmore’s remarks, in front of Malcolm Nance, and former Rep. Jack Kingston, hit home.

“I just think it’s sad, because the same arguments that were used against gay people, treating them like aliens who wanted to fuck anything that moved and that’s why we should avoid them at all costs, are being used [against the trans community,]” Wilmore said.

He continued with:

“You can always find an extreme person that becomes the object of your attack to assign that to everybody. So if you say, ‘Well, that person is weird, or they want to commit sexual assault, then people think that all transgender people want to commit sexual assault.'”

Yiannopoulos’ response?

He claimed that transgendered people “are disproportionately involved in those kind of crimes” and also claimed that transgendered people aren’t discriminated against, saying “this is a psychiatric disorder — like identity disorder or sociopathy.”

But what finally did it for Wilmore was when Yiannopoulos, an alt-right tool who writes for Breitbart, attacked panel guest Nance, a well-respected counter-terrorism official, calling him “stupid,” The New York Daily News reports.

“You can go fuck yourself, alright? If your argument is that these people are stupid, you didn’t hear a word [Nance] said earlier this segment,” Wilmore said. “Because he can talk circles around your pathetic, douchey little ass from England, alright?”

Wilmore also defended Saturday Night Live actress, Leslie Jones, whom Yiannopoulos cruelly attacked earlier in the segment. He has also savaged her on Twitter. Fortunately, Yiannopoulos has been permanently banned by the social media giant because of his hate-filled attacks on Jones.

“And one last thing,” Wilmore said, “Leslie Jones is not barely literate. Go fuck yourself again, for that one, okay? She is a very thoughtful person, and very friendly.”

Following Wilmore’s feisty rebuttal, Maher’s audience erupted in thunderous applause, The New York Daily News reported.

Jeremy Scahill, founder of The Intercept, was also scheduled to appear, but canceled once he discovered Yiannopoulos would also be on the show, Vulture.com reports.

Just weeks prior to his appearance on Maher’s show, Yiannopoulos was forced to cancel an appearance at the University of California-Berkeley after his presence sparked violent protests.

Yiannopoulos avidly supports Trump and has promoted racism, xenophobia and Islamophobia, The New York Daily News reports. His internet popularity began spreading thanks to Breitbart after current White House Strategist Steve Bannon was still executive chairman for the archly right-wing site.
