REPORT: Donald ‘Where Are The Emails’ Trump Was Sued For Destroying Email Evidence 10 Years Ago
Trump Was Sued For Destroying Email Evidence 10 Years Ago
Last week, after President Obama revealed he would be endorsing Hillary Clinton to be his successor, Donald Trump took to social media to touch off a debate unlike anything we’ve ever seen before: Twitter beef between presidential candidates.

After Clinton sent that epic tweet, Donald Trump struck back in a fairly predictable manner.
How long did it take your staff of 823 people to think that up–and where are your 33,000 emails that you deleted? https://t.co/gECLNtQizQ

Ever since Ted Cruz and John Kasich suspended their campaigns, leaving Trump as the presumptive Republican Presidential nominee, Trump has turned his full attention to Hillary Clinton and he’s repeatedly prattled on about the FBI investigation surrounding the U.S. security emails she received on her personal server. But, here’s the catch: just 10 years ago, Trump was sued for destroying email evidence.
In 2006, when a judge ordered Donald Trump’s casino operation to hand over several years’ worth of emails, the answer surprised him: The
Trump Organizationroutinely erased emails and had no records from 1996 to 2001.
While that’s bad, in the piece by USA Today, Trump’s intentionally deceitful behavior actually looks even worse when you take into account the words’ of his own IT director.
At that time, a Trump IT director testified that until 2001, executives in Trump Tower relied on personal email accounts using dial-up Internet services, despite the fact that Trump had launched a high-speed Internet provider in 1998 and announced he would wire his whole building with it. Another said Trump had no routine process for preserving emails before 2005.
What’s so incredibly hypocritical about this entire scenario is the lengths that Trump has gone to criticize Hillary over her email scandal, when he has his own email scandal from just a decade ago. And while he wasn’t the Secretary of State, he was, according to him, a billion-dollar real estate mogul who had absolutely no business participating in shady and underhanded practices as the head of a massive corporation.
This revelation is huge because it almost destroys Trump’s main source of attack against Hillary. It’s hard to accuse someone of being untrustworthy when you’re guilty of committing the same behavior as them.
