Fox Interview About ‘Transgenderism’ Is The Most Ignorant Thing You’ll See All Week (VIDEO)

Conflating One Woman’s Lie With Transgender Identities, Open Boarders, and Jihadist Islam

On the April 13th edition of Fox & Friends, host Steve Doocy spoke with psychiatrist and Fox News regular Keith Ablow about the Rachel Dolezal scandal. Dolezal, who claimed to be a light-skinned black person, was president of the NAACP’s Spokane, Washington chapter until reporters revealed she lied about her racial identity.

Embarrassingly, Dolezal has since doubled-down on her supposed black ancestry despite mounds of evidence proving she is, in fact, a white woman. You’d think it would be fodder enough for the two right-wing pundits, but Dr. Ablow seemed giddy to pander to his socially conservative followers on issues ranging from how much Facebook sucks to the dangers of “transgenderism.” Oh, and he even slipped in a few mentions of the “new world order” liberals and Democrats are busy creating to subvert reality as we know it.

“So here’s the new world order,” Ablow said. “According to this woman, she is African-American. You can’t believe that she was born of her parents. This is called disassembling reality. Now, in psychiatry, you call that a delusion. In some sectors of our culture, you call that choice.”

“Wait,” Doocy interrupted, “you cannot choose your race. Can you?”

“Of course you can’t,” Albow replied. “I’m here as a psychiatrist and as a human being to tell you of course you can’t.”

“But there are people and they’re Democrats and liberals and they’re people who would say ‘yes you can.’ And I’ve been told by lawyers I consult that ‘hey, if I think I’m 65 and I say my entire self-concept is that of a 65 year-old, can I get Medicare,’ and the lawyers that told me, ‘you know what, you’d have a case’ because of women like this, right, and because of other case law relating to transgenders. If you say that you’re female, you have to be treated in some states as a female. If I say I’m 65, why am I not 65? Why are you committing ageism against me?”

It isn’t surprising that Ablow, who calls himself a professional in the field of psychiatry, is unaware of the well-documented biological basis for transgender identity. He resigned from the American Psychiatric Association after they came out in support of LGBT rights. He’s called Chaz Bono’s transition “a psychotic delusion” and “a fixed and false belief,” stating there is “nothing substantially different from a woman believing she is a man than there is about a woman believing she is a CIA agent being followed by the KGB (when in reality, she is, say, a salesperson at J. Crew).”

He also found time to blast Facebook, open borders, and a litany of other conservative hot topics in an effort to conflate one woman’s embarrassing lie with the systematic destruction of the American way of life.

“Who was the first human being in the world to say that transgenderism would pave the way for people to declare their own races? Dr. Keith Ablow. I warned about it. And it’s happening and it will happen with age because of guys like Mark Zuckerberg, who have you invent your life on Facebook and then don’t understand the concepts of the borders of a country. The country’s a real mark, he’s part of this too. It’s part of the denial of reality.”

Ablow even managed to link the whole thing to terrorism. It’s like a Fox News smörgåsbord with everything your racist uncle finds scary and confusing out on display:

“What’s he doing, he’s saying ‘Invent yourself. Throw up happy pictures. Just tell your story. Mind not that it’s not your real story. And don’t worry about these jihadists. They’re not really out to kill you because you’re American, because, you know what, you’re not American. You’re just one of the pixels on Facebook.’ You know what? He’s a dangerous guy. This woman is a dangerous woman. Because the bottom line is we want our kids to grow up sane.”

That was just about the most Fox News anything I’ve ever read. I weep for our elderly, but I’m thankful their kids did, indeed, grow up sane.
