Twitter Erupts With Outrage After Ivanka Trump ‘Fills In’ For Donald at G20 Summit
Twitter erupts into firestorm over ivanka’s appearance
Who is the real No.2 in U.S. leadership when President Trump is abroad? Well today at the G20 Summit in Hamburg, Germany, an appearance by First Daughter Ivanka seems to prove that nepotism, not seniority or experience, proves best when being represented on foreign soil.
It was reported by the Associated Press today that Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka filled in for the U.S. President at a round-table meeting with world leaders at the G20. That’s right. An inexperienced family member with no political standing was thrust into the spotlight as America’s representative when attending the momentous Summit.
Bloomberg reports that Pres. Trump stepped away from the table for one-on-one meetings with other global leaders when Mrs. Trump joined the table. And what was being discussed that Ivanka had so much knowledge and experience in? Shoes or jewelry? No, her time at the forefront of our nation was when the president of the World Bank addressed the meeting about African migration and health.
This moment on the world stage just further proves of the extraordinary amount of nepotism in the Trump White House. Ivanka already possesses an office in the West Wing as a top White House aide while her husband, Jared Kushner, serves as a senior adviser to the President. Mr. Kushner has been delegated so much responsibility by the President that many have even come to refer to him as the “Secretary of Everything.”

Ivanka’s substitution for her father looks even more disgraceful when you understand how the happening came to public view. According to the AP, the world was made aware of the substitution when a photo was posted on Twitter by Svetlana Lukash, a Russian official attending the summit (now deleted). It showed Ivanka sitting next to British Prime Minister Theresa May and Chinese President Xi Jinping, stating:
And replaces Pres Trump at the #G20 table as he leaves for bilateral meetings.
Looking as if the picture was taken with a smartphone, it shows that the foreign parties at the Summit were as equally shocked by Mrs. Trump’s presence at the table as we are.
How do you know if something is a momentous event in the era of social media? You can tell by the reaction from around the globe by users on Twitter. “Ivanka” is trending on Twitter at about 44, 400 Tweets as of the writing of this article, and you know this firestorm has enough legs to last until tomorrow’s political news shows tomorrow morning, if not longer.

Why the hell is Ivanka Trump sitting in for daddy at G20 meetings?! What are her qualifications? Who voted for her?

Ivanka Trump is an unqualified, unelected, inexperienced daughter of a corrupt businessman, yet she's sitting with World Leaders at G20? K.

Based on Ivanka Trump example, I'm going to ask Speaker Ryan if my son can sit in for me at the next House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing https://t.co/ZbApdkYixL
