SHAMELESS: Trump Blames Everyone Except The NRA For Orlando Massacre (VIDEO)

The bodies of the dead are barely cold

Donald Trump is the worst thing for American democracy since George Wallace, Japanese internment, or slavery of black people and the indigenous.

While President Obama and the world mourned the lives lost in Orlando after homophobic and Islamic fundamentalist, Omar Mateen, killed 49 and wounded 53 patrons at the nightclub Pulse — Donald Trump decided it was the perfect opportunity to blame Syrian refugees for the deadliest mass shooting to date on American soil.

During a “media blitz” on June 13, Trump issued his dire warning to Fox News about the dangers of allowing Syrian refugees to seek shelter in the United States in the age of terrorism:

“We’re bringing thousands and thousands of them back into this country,” The New York Daily News reports Trump as saying, “…no different than this maniac who did this yesterday.”

Trump, of course, failed to provide substantial evidence of this claim, and Fox News didn’t bother to press for facts. Trump has a notorious reputation for being a foul-mouthed, bigoted fool — and Fox News is Trump’s biggest enabler.

Here’s the truth, of the four million Syrians fleeing the violence of DAESH, the United States accepted 585. So far, none of the Syrian refugees currently residing in our country has committed an act of terrorism on American soil. However, an actual American citizen, indeed, is guilty of terrorism. His name is Omar Mateen.

The Blame Game Deflection

Thanks to the NRA’s fight against background checks, red flagging mentally ill citizens, and preventing the federal government from forbidding people on the terrorist list from purchasing guns, another mass shooting has occurred, and 49 more innocent people are dead, and that number is likely to rise.

In conservative circles and the Trump world, the NRA and gun lobbyists goons aren’t to blame. No, instead, Syrians, who themselves are victims of terror are the enemy. Another accomplice, well, President Obama and political correctness are to blame for domestic terrorism too. According to Trump, Obama’s refusal to say “radical Islamists,” is the real problem. If only Obama would rise and shout “radical Islamists,” DAESH would immediately become frightened, fall to their knees begging for mercy to make it stop, and would surrender immediately.

President Obama, did, in fact, state the massacre committed by Omar Mateen was terrorism and a hate crime:

“With respect to the killer, there’s been a lot of reporting that’s been done. It’s important to emphasize that we’re still at the preliminary stages of the investigation, and there’s a lot more that we have to learn. The one thing that we can say is that this is being treated as a terrorist investigation. It appears that the shooter was inspired by various extremist information that was disseminated over the Internet. All those materials are currently being searched, exploited so we will have a better sense of the pathway that the killer took in making the decision to launch this attack.”

Besides, calling DAESH terrorists and radicals hasn’t deterred them from seeking to destroy innocent human beings lives before, what makes conservatives like Trump think it ever will? Conservatives like Trump and this insistent desire to live in the “bubble” and to clammer to phony outrage is why terrorism continues to thrive. DAESH profits from our division and distraction.

Political correctness didn’t create terrorism, President Obama didn’t create terrorism, and Syrian refugees didn’t create terrorism.

Omar Mateen’s decision to kill gay people was his and his alone. But knowing Trump, he will remain relentless with this claim that Obama, political correctness, and Syrians refugees are to blame. If all these actors continue to be the default of blame, then absolutely, the NRA has blood on their hands too.
