Trump's Campaign Manager Assaults Female Reporter

Trump Campaign Manager Caught On Tape Assaulting Female Reporter (AUDIO)

Donald Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski (allegedly!) assaults Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields

Trump’s fans have anger issues and apparently, it goes all the way up to the top. On Tuesday, Donald Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski got caught on audio (allegedly!) assaulting Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields in front of witnesses.

And Breitbart has generally given Donald Trump friendly coverage. We’d hate to see how the Trump campaign handles reporters who don’t play ball. Oh wait, we do know: In February, Trump’s Secret Service agent choke-slammed Time photojournalist Christopher Morris for attempting to photograph Black Lives Matter activists being kicked out of a rally in Virginia.

Politico got hold of an audio recording of the incident in which Corey Lewandowski allegedly got rough with Michelle Fields after a speech Donald Trump gave in Jupiter, FL. Although the audio is “not definitive,” Washington Post reporter Ben Terris saw the whole incident between Fields and Trump’s campaign manager unfold, and wrote:

As security parted the masses to give him passage out of the chandelier-lit ballroom, Michelle Fields, a young reporter for Trump-friendly Breitbart News, pressed forward to ask the Republican front-runner a question. I watched as a man with short-cropped hair and a suit grabbed her arm and yanked her out of the way. He was Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s 41-year-old campaign manager.

The audio’s hard to make out due to all the background noise, but you can hear Michelle Fields asking Donald Trump about affirmative action and a voice that allegedly belongs to Corey Lewandowsky dismissing her with an “excuse me, thank you.” Afterwards, Ben Terris asks if Fields is okay and she sounds shaken:

“Holy sh*t! I can’t believe he just did that that was so hard. Was that Corey? [Terris confirms it was] That was insane. You should have felt how hard he grabbed me. That’s insane. I’ve never had anyone do that to me from a campaign.”

Here’s the audio so you can hear for yourself.

True to form, Trump’s campaign manager responded to the accusations by giving Michelle Fields the victim-blaming treatment.

But the Breitbart reporter wasn’t having it, and tweeted a photo of the bruise marks Donald Trump’s campaign manager left on her arm.

In and interview with ABC, Fields told Tom Llamas:

“Honestly it’s been really hurtful, because obviously no one wants to be touched and violated like that. I would just ask him to put himself in my shoes and imagine if I was his daughter.”

Then again…Ew. We know what Donald Trump’s said about his daughter.

While Breitbart was initially reluctant to anger Donald Trump’s campaign and lose access (they later came around), an outraged Dana Loesch from The Blaze comes out swinging and demands Corey Lewandowski’s resignation.
