Trump Sycophant Mayor Urged To Resign Over Uber-Racist ‘Barry, This Rope Is For You’ Posts (VIDEO)

Here’s the thing about being a racist Donald Trump supporter on the social media: You post something on Facebook or Twitter, and a ton of people read it. And they may or may not like what you post.

Racist mayor is a victim of his own stupidity

If you’re a politician, your dumbness and your racism can come back to haunt you.

Case in point: Charles Wasko, the mayor of West York, Pennsylvania.

He’s now being urged to step down because of his continual posting of racist content and comments on his Facebook page.

He’s posted things like:

A photo showing a young Clint Eastwood holding a noose

When you see people posting memes like this you have to wonder where the hell the Secret Service is.

Being a card-carrying racist, he’s posted the obligatory photos comparing the Obamas to apes.

In the above photo, The New York Daily News reports he said this:

“Most think it is Obama’s picture……sorry its (sic) Moochelles (sic) baby photo.”

For the photo above, he wrote:

“Aww…moving day at the Whitehouse (sic) has finally arrived.” The lettering on the wheelbarrow proclaims “Kenya or bust.”

Really, these racists are highly unoriginal

They are also uninformed, because we really are great apes. But then, of course, they think they were created by a God who loves everyone unless they are the wrong color.

Shawn Mauck, who’s the council president only heard about Wasko’s shenanigans recently. Suffice it to say he was shocked when he read what was on Wasko’s Facebook page.

“I almost don’t know what to say,” Mauck said, adding that the posts were “disgusting.”

“I kind of want to throw up.”

But what worried Mauck and councilman Brian Wilson was this:

Wasko has some oversight of the daily operations of the West York Borough Police Department.

“With those types of thoughts in your mind, how can you oversee the police department?” Wilson asked. He’s also asked the mayor to resign. “We can’t have anybody being racist or bigoted … especially an elected official.”

Acting police chief Matthew Millsaps said that by law, Wasko does have some role in the department’s operations, but the mayor’s interactions with him have been limited, he added.  But fortunately, he’s also upset with the images.

“I’ve viewed these images and am disturbed,” he said in a statement.

And it’s for good reason — two of the borough’s eight officers are minorities. One officer is a black woman and the other officer is a Hispanic man. And he noted the percentage of people of color in the borough is roughly the same as that of the department.

“This in no way reflects the ideology or beliefs of this department,” Millsaps said. “Of particular concern are any images with undertones of violence — lynching or that are threatening in nature.”

Asked if the meme of Eastwood holding a noose was a threatening image he said:

“I could understand how it could be taken that way.”

Councilwoman Shelley Metzler had other ideas.

“I would punch him in the mouth if I could get away with it,” she said.

At their meeting on Monday, the council members plan to ask Wasko to resign.

Elected mayor of the borough of about 4,500 residents in 2013, Wasko ran unopposed as a Republican, tallying 202 votes against 78 write-in ballots for other candidates.

Contacted by phone Thursday, Wasko played the “poor me” game, claiming he is the victim of a “witch hunt.” Saying he would provide more details at a later date, he hung up.

Funny how these racist Trump supporters always blame everyone else when they are the ones doing something wrong. But then Trump does that all the time, so they’re just following in his footsteps. And at one point on Thursday Wasko defiantly posted that he refuses to be politically correct on his Facebook page.

Wasko’s posts are “obviously ignorance and racism,” said Sandra Thompson, a local attorney who’s in charge of the NAACP office in the county. Now that they know what the mayor has been up to “we will be seeking to take action, because his obvious bias against black people has an effect on all his constituents, which he seems to forget includes black people,” she said.

In 2010, the borough’s population was about 86 percent white and 12 percent black.

Hope he won’t let the door hit him in the butt on the way out

As mayor, Wasko isn’t paid and only votes to break ties on the city council. And frankly, it’s good that he isn’t paid, because as far as I can tell, he isn’t worth anything as a human being.
