Video Exposes the Mind Boggling Hypocrisy of Lindsey Graham Now That He Sold His Soul to Trump

Lindsey has two ideas about Trump

Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina has joined other Republican congressman like Ted Cruz and Rand Paul in being more of a media personality than a respectable congressman. This duality was exposed during the 2016 presidential election when they all made very public stances against Donald Trump, only to then suck up to him when he won the Republican Primary. Cruz’s groveling, in particular, was embarrassing as Trump had not only insinuated that his father was involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy, but also flat-out insulted his wife’s looks.

However, it was Graham that gained the most attention as he was particularly antagonistic towards the Donald since the reality TV host suggested that his close friend John McCain was not a war hero due to him being captured in the Vietnam War, culminating in Graham calling Trump a “jackass.” In response, Trump publicly revealed the Senator’s phone number, resulting in one of the most amusing things to come out of the debacle: Graham releasing a video of him destroying multiple cell phones in several inventive ways.

But of course, now that Trump is President, Graham has decided to stop his direct attacks and become a lapdog for the Commander-in-Chief, helping propagate his agenda through his votes and disastrous healthcare proposal, the Graham-Cassidy Bill.

At the same time, though, Graham is more than aware of Trump’s potential mental failures, yet when it comes time to vote and make Trump’s disastrous policies law, Graham bends the knee to support his party’s President. Thus, there is an inherent hypocrisy in him, and a video released by Deadspin editor Timothy Burke has brilliantly exposed this through one specific example: what he now says he thinks of what the media has had to say about Trump’s cognitive capacity, versus what he himself has said on the same subject.
