Ivanka Trump Gets Flamed by Twitter Users, Chelsea Handler for Father’s Day Tweets (VIDEO)

If you’re still wondering what to get your dad for Father’s Day on June 18, Ivanka Trump’s company has some advice, and Twitter users and comedian Chelsea Handler have advice for Ivanka on what to get her father. And many of the suggestions referenced the investigations into collusion between Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia during the 2016 election, The International Business Times reports.

Trump and family have been a hot topic, especially with the growing controversy surrounding his administration’s alleged connections to Russia. And now Special Counsel Robert Mueller is investigating allegations regarding collusion and obstruction of justice. Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner is in the middle of this pot-boiler. He’s a senior adviser who is reportedly the subject of the investigation, The Washington Post reports.

And Twitter users responded to her company’s gift ideas, using more than a little sarcasm.

“What’s a good gift for a dad who’s heading to prison soon? Asking for a friend… #ComeyWeek” said one Twitter user who goes by the name “Fine.”

The tweet is in reference to former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee on June 8, Raw Story reports.

Then there were those who used the social media giant to tell the First Daughter that her dad’s healthcare plan is wrong-headed and that his Twitter meltdowns drive them nuts.

I saved the best one for last. Ouch!

On her Netflix show, Comedian Chelsea Handler ribald suggestions for what Ivanka Trump should get dad on Father’s Day. She offered a two-step program to help “fix [her] dementia-ridden, fat father problems.”

The first step?

“Put him in a nursing home.”

Then the second step:

“Walk away,” she said.

Certainly sounds like sound advice. I wish the rest of us could do that too.
