VOICE Hotline Operators Are Being Bombarded With Calls About Illegal Space Aliens Invading America
The Trump administration unveiled a new office to help those who have been victims from crime by “illegal immigrants” and thanks to social media users with a sense of humor and justice it didn’t go quite as planned.
VOICE stands for Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement Office and it is run by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the US Immigrant and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE). It offers a hotline for people to call and receive information or support specifically related to being a victim of crime at the hands of someone who is undocumented. As Mashable reports, the office was the brainchild of the Trump administration who are hellbent on demonizing immigrants and this is just another way to fulfill that goal.
According to USA Today, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly introduced the VOICE office by saying “Criminal aliens routinely victimize Americans and other legal residents.”
Ouch. As The Independent points out, statistics have shown that this demographic actually commits less crimes than American citizens so the whole project is one giant exercise in fear mongering.

So far, the hotline has received all kinds of calls about criminal behavior by illegal aliens…from space.
The ingenious trolling got a kick start from twitter, as users posted the hotline number and encouraged Americans to call in and report crimes by space aliens, many of them using the #AlienDay hashtag. The VOICE hotline unveiling just happened to coincide with a day of celebrating the classic sci-fi movie Alien. How convenient for twitter trolls.
If any of you need to report space aliens to our government, please call their hotline: 1-855-48-VOICE. Here are some of their Most Wanted:

A spokesperson for ICE didn’t take kindly to the influx of calls about illegal space aliens beaming into the United States to commit criminal acts against vulnerable humanoids, according to the BBC.
“There are certainly more constructive ways to make one’s opinions heard than to prevent legitimate victims of crime from receiving the information and resources they seek because the lines are tied up by hoax callers.”
