BREAKING: Mueller Indicts Son-in-law of Putin Connected Russian Oligarch
Special Counsel Robert Mueller has indicted Alex van der Zwaan on the basis of lying to the FBI. Zwaan is of particular importance because he is the son-in-law of Russian oligarch German Khan, who is one of the founders of the Russian investment giant Alfa Group which in turn owns many commercial interests including the Alfa-Bank.

Alfa-Bank became controversial in March 2017 after the FBI found an alleged connection between their computer servers and the Trump Organization. Trump’s longstanding business ties with Russia have already put him in a tough spot, both from an ethics and national security standpoint.
Last Friday, Mueller charged 13 Russian nationals with numerous crimes, including violating campaign donation limits from foreign entities. By continuing these indictments, he remains committed to ending this probe.
