Trump: I Would Have Rushed into Parkland Shooting Unarmed, Twitter Pounces

Trump Makes Absurd Claim About School Shooting And Twitter Brings The Laughs

If there is something to brag about, there is no doubt Republican Donald Trump will do just that. It doesn’t matter how ridiculous the claim he is making truly seems.

And when it comes to the controversy surrounding how law enforcement handled the recent school shooting in Parkland, Florida, Trump found a way to brag about himself yet again. And in the most absurdly ridiculous manner possible.

When speaking to governors at the White House today, Cadet Bone Spurs made this laughable claim:

I really believe I’d run in there even if I didn’t have a weapon.

He’s referring to officers standing outside the Marjory Stoneman Douglas school building where the shooter was and waiting to go in.

This is coming from the same guy who took 5 rich kid deferments to stay out of the Vietnam War, and once told Howard Stern a story of how he squeamishly turned away from a bleeding man at his club who had fallen and hurt his head.

I said, ‘Oh my God, that’s disgusting,’ and I turned away. I couldn’t–you know, he was right in front of me, and I turned away. I didn’t want to touch him.

Needless to say, the news of this comment lit up Twitter. The reactions poured in making fun of the claim.

It’s no surprise Donald Trump would make such a preposterous claim about his nonexistent courage. He tried to lie his way around dodging the draft before everyone found out the truth. And no one is going to buy this malarkey no matter how much he tries to sell it.
