The GOP Asked for Birthday Greetings for Trump — It Didn’t Go Well
The gop demands birthday praise for their president!
For those who do not know, Trump hit several milestones when he was elected President of the United States, but one of the more interesting ones was that he was the oldest person to take the Oval Office at the then-ripe age of 70, beating Ronald Reagan who was 69.
A lot has happened in the year and a half since, from Trump gutting healthcare, giving tax breaks to the rich, embarrassing the United States on a global level at the G7 conference, and of course praising North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. But, for today, the Republican Party wants you to forget all that to wish the Commander-in-Chief a happy birthday on Twitter!
