Damn, was that an ordeal in the House yesterday or what?
Former Secretary of State and current Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton finally wrapped up a marathon round of testimony. It was supposed to be eight hours, which is still a long long time if you have better things to do with your time. Desperate to justify this latest investigation by the House Select Committee for Benghazi (which apparently hasn’t revealed anything not known one to three years ago..), the GOP board members kept Clinton in the “hot seat” for over 11 hours! It was actually at around the 11th hour that the hashtag #FreeHillary started trending.
After an entire day filled with of some of the most ridiculous antics by Republicans since…well, the Planned Parenthood debacle, it’s not surprising that witty internet users had plenty of material to draw from.
